New Twins in the Family!
Posted by Glenn
Well…I am delighted to say I have had to change our homepage a little, our family have just been blessed with beautiful twin boys!
Having learnt not to take anything for granted, I was reluctant to post here about the news that awaited me, when I returned from Kilimanjaro. Geraldine knew she was expecting before I went, but with it being very early days, she waited till I was back to break the news, so as not to worry me when I was away. At that stage she only knew she was expecting, and it was not until a few weeks later that she discovered two heartbeats in there.

They were safely delivered at 36 weeks 4 days, being 5lb 7oz, and 7lb 9½oz… →13lb ½oz combined weight!
To say we are thankful to God would be an understatement, I am reminded again of the verse in James 1 v 17 ” Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above…”
Because of this wonderful news I have not had my walking boots on in earnest, since we came back from Kilimanjaro, and now that the two little boys have arrived, it might be quite some time before I get on the trail again.
My walking companions and I had some laughs wondering what to call them…Kili and Manjaro, Ben and Nevis, or Slieve and Donard being among the favourites, Kenny’s suggestion of Magillycuddy and Reeks didn’t get much consideration I must admit.
I might let you in on the names we have chosen in a future post

Got something to say?
Many congratulations to you all, suddenly climbing a mountain isn’t so daunting with two new boys to care for
Thanks Peter! If it gets too much, I could always go back up Kilimanjaro for a rest!
LOL!
Your keeping it very sneaky!!! Get some photos up! lol
Whatever do you mean…sneaky?
Now that you mention it…I should dust the camera off, and take a few photos….
So chuffed to see these. Not normally on my computer on Sunday but I remembered you text me when I was on holiday. which by the way, would be a great place for you all.
